Panhandle Salvage was founded in 1994 with the idea of providing miscellaneous
building materials at an affordable price. Since that time, we have
prided ourselves in having been able to assist the do-it yourselfer in
figuring the materials for various projects, as well as providing
“package” kits for various size decks and, more recently, the barn kits.
In 1998, we pioneered the packaged barn kits in the panhandle area.
The kit includes quality materials for a completed barn, right down to
the last screw. All trusses for the barn kits are certified and engineered.
Because of our ability to accommodate the needs of our customers by diversifying
our packages to meet their individual needs and our willingness to work
with the customer, we have been able to provide barn kits to well known
entities such as Florida State Hospital, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department,
Holmes County Fair Association, Holmes County School Board, Walton County
Municipalities, SunLand of Marianna, Washington County Public Works, and
Washington County’s Orange Hill Soil & Water Conservation. These are
just a few of our satisfied customers. In the year 2002, realizing
a continued growing interest in the barn kit package provided and the need
for greater flexibility, we felt it was time to expand the potential for
our kits. In January, 2003, we were able to work with an engineering
firm to provide us with plans and drawings for barns that are able to withstand
certain wind load requirements imposed by Florida Building Codes.

agricultural barn kits, or a building with engineered drawings to sufficiently
accommodate the wind load regulation requirements, we can assist in making
your plans a reality for buildings in widths ranging 24’W, 32’W, 36’W,
and 40’W and eave heights from 8’ to 16’ with any length to fit your individual
needs.
